Jake Wachtman, the driver of the #12 go-kart is very passionate about what he does. He is thinking about racing 24/7 and is always thinking of ways to get better. At home he is either wrenching on a dirt bike or go-kart or driving one of his practice go-karts around one of his 3 tracks in his backyard. In the winter, he is racing on the computer simulation racing games Rfactor and Nascar Racing 2003 Season with the force feedback turned on all the way so that he can get the most realistic feel of the car possible. He has a desire to win like no other and will do just about anything to get to the top.
Jake is a second-generation driver. His father, Jim Wachtman, drag raced in the early eighties, raced a street stock a few times in the late eighties, and ran 4 seasons in a go-kart in the early nineties. Jim got his desire from his dad (Jake's grandpa), who liked watching NASCAR races when they were on tv, working on cars, and of course, driving his cars fast. At one point he even considered turning a Chevelle into a circle jerker to race at Bryan Motor Speedway. The Wachtman's have an ability that has been passed down through generations and that is the ability to outsmart the competition. They have outsmarted many competitors in their racing careers and will outsmart many more in years to come.
For anyone viewing this that has a racecar but needs a driver, I am open to racing anything you may have. Just send me an email with some info about your vehicle, the track we would race at, and any other info you may have and I will get back with you.
I am also looking for a sponsor for the 2012 season. If you would be interested in sponsoring me, please go to the contacts page and call me or send me an email. Thank you.
